countdown to W-Day: day 30

in less than ten minutes, i will be married in a month's time..
yes, i will be entering into another phase of adult's life, it is not a necessary stage where all adults go through, but a stage where two persons , after courtship and couplehood, decide to move on to the next level of being together..

to prepare for the big event, we two and many of our friends who are involved in one ways or another had been rather busy with trying to tie up all loose ends.. and yet, still many things are left unfinished, and we are trying our best to finish it as soon as possible to be able to catch some breath before the big day.. i am very touched by their sincerity in offering the much-needed help.. i would save the acknowledgements to after the wedding, or after all things settled and i have time to write them up.. but again, thank you guys! and gals!

with our newly renovated room ready and all furniture arrived and fixed up, i have one less thing to be concerned about.. i just have to find time and place for all the stuff that were taken out of the room prior the renovation.. many would get the boot i reckon, i would rather a less crowded room than it could have been by simply putting all the stuff back in again.. i just couldn't imagine the gross look of the room if it happened, not mentioning my wife-to-be's reaction, nor my mom's, nor the guests'..

things left to complete by the end of this week:
the final guest list for the wedding ceremony and the lunch buffet;
the transportation plan for that day (always a dread for me to look at it, such complex manoevre);
the event flow for that day (just completed, but from the look of it, much revision are in store)..

hope i have not left anything out, and meanwhile, we still have to shop around, utilising the well-timed great singapore sale to look for offers for bed sheets, new clothes and stuff for the wedding.. the house is also in need for some cleaning and tidying up, which i hope would not be in the scale of spring cleanging, that would be very time-consuming..

my countdown blog would - i hope genuinely - trigger between mandarin and english, which means you can check out my mandarin blog tomorrow for updates on my wedding's preparation no matter if you are concerned, bored, nosy.. just joking, and i discovered i have used participle phrases for two of my paragraphs.. well, it makes no sense to you, i know, just a little observation..

time to hit the bed now!
a+
