well-thought gift

it was my good friend ben's wedding last saturday, and the gift for the guests was... a picnic cloth!

i thought it was the most well-thought and useful wedding gift i have received so far... it was a far cry from the normal chocolate or the candle or the paper weight i have seen in the past, but it is not my intention to undervalue those previous gifts too..

i think as the host of the dinner, the gift for the guest is very important too, and sometimes the owner of the restaurant or the hotel did not plan it well.. so it's really up to the couple to decide whether to find their own gift...

and i liked what was written on the note accompanying the gift:

"this little gift is chosen especially for you to share something close to our heart - picnic.
