been some while since i blogged.. it's my nature to procrastinate.. but, but i am going to be less of a procrastinator this year.. you can say its one of my resolutions..

after watching ip man (not i.p. man, but yip mann as in cantonese), i'm thinking to learn martial arts again, after a long hiatus from capoeira.. i think the show has revived the interest in martials arts again, with more and more people enquiring about the Wing Chun classes conducted in singapore.. it was the same style used by donnie yan in the show..

capoeira is interesting, but the fee was rather high, and you pay ridiculous price for the grading-cum-workshop which take place annually.. maybe it is because capoeira is still in its infancy in singapore, not many instructors are available, so they can afford to charge exorbitant fees for the lessons and uniforms.. i hope with more and more groups starting up here, the fees would reduce eventually.. in economics, the lack of alternatives gives rise to the power to control the price, some sort like a monopoly..

there is going to have a wing chun demostration at the national library next month on the 7th mar, i might make a trip down to have a look.. who knows, i might sign up for a try-out.. check out here..
